Marcel Rogge

Marcel Rogge studied computer science at TU Kaiserslautern, where he received a bachelor’s degree in 2019 and a master’s degree in 2021. His bachelor thesis on ‘Image-Based Upsampling of Spherical Depth Maps’ and master thesis on ‘Spherical Novel-view Synthesis’ were completed at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). In 2022 he joined the Augmented Vision department of the DFKI as a researcher. His work focuses on real-time capable Spherical Novel-view Synthesis for VR applications. His research interests include deep learning, neural rendering, and adaptations to spherical images.
