Nadia Robertini studied Computer Science at the University of Pisa, Italy, and received her M.Sc. in Visual Computing from the University of Saarland, Germany in 2014. Later she joined the Computer Graphics and Computer Vision research group at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics is Saarbruecken, where she developed new methods for full-body human performance capture. She completed her PhD in 2019 with a dissertation entitled “Human Performance Capture in Outdoor Environments”. In 2018 she briefly joined the Virtual Reality research group at Facebook Reality Labs in Sausalito, CA. Before joining the Department Augmented Vision of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI GmbH) in Kaiserslautern in January 2021, she has worked in the industry of vision devices at Imago Technologies, Germany, with a focus on the Event-based technology.
