Jamiu Oluwaseun Ojeleye joined the AI-Pruning team at the DFKI Augmented Vision department in June 2024, where he works on model-based AR tracking with a focus on visual odometry and visual SLAM. He received his BSc in Computer Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University (Turkey). He holds an Erasmus Mundus joint master’s degree in Imaging and Light in Extended Reality (IMLEX), earning a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Eastern Finland, a Master Optics, Image, Vision and Multimedia from Université Jean Monnet (France), and a Master of Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology (Japan). Before joining DFKI, he worked as a Research Engineer at Laboratoire Hubert Curien in Saint-Étienne, France, contributing to the PREMIERE project, which develops AI and XR tools for human body pose estimation, motion analysis, and digital representation of performing arts. His research interests include 2D and 3D vision, machine and deep learning, and real-time vision systems for AR applications.
