The Augmented Vision Department of DFKI, led by Prof. Dr. Didier Stricker, is looking for a research assistant (Hiwi) interested in developing and creating an annotation tool by the use of SAM or other
recent foundation models
Your Task
- support the development of anannotation tool integrating the Segment Anything Model (SAM)
- train, test and integrate state-of-the-art detectionand segmentation models
- conduct literature research to address upcoming challenges
- contribute your own ideas and solutions
- work upto 40 hours per month
Your Qualifications
- basic knowledge in Computer Vision and Deep Learning
- strong programming skills in Python
- advanced Bachelor or Master student
- reliable and conscientious working style
- good communication in English or German
