Looking for HIWI

The Augmented Vision Department of DFKI, led by Prof. Dr. Didier Stricker, is looking for a research assistant (Hiwi) interested in developing and creating an annotation tool by the use of SAM or other
recent foundation models

Your Task

  • support the development of anannotation tool integrating the Segment Anything Model (SAM)
  • train, test and integrate state-of-the-art detectionand segmentation models
  • conduct literature research to address upcoming challenges
  • contribute your own ideas and solutions
  • work upto 40 hours per month

Your Qualifications

  • basic knowledge in Computer Vision and Deep Learning
  • strong programming skills in Python
  • advanced Bachelor or Master student
  • reliable and conscientious working style
  • good communication in English or German
