On 14 October 2026, Mohammad Mahdi Chamseddine successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled “Multi-Sensor Point Cloud Learning for 3D Scene Perception and Modelling”.

The doctoral thesis was written in the “Augmented Vision” department at DFKI under the supervision of Prof. Dr Didier Stricker and Dr.-Ing. Jason Raphael Rambach.

The examination board/examiners consisted of Prof. Dr Didier Stricker (RPTU), Prof. Dr Sophie Fellenz (RPTU), Prof. Dr Moses Ganardi (RPTU) and Prof. Dr Benjamin Busam (TUM).
